Edward Peugh is a seasoned real estate investor and entrepreneur based in Charlotte, North Carolina. He began his investment journey in 2005 while serving on active duty in the United States Marine Corps. While he is proud of his service and the various distinctions he earned, he decided to return to the civilian world and began navigating multiple market cycles and a wide
range of real estate strategies—from short-term and long-term rentals (single-family and multi-family) to fix-and-flips, wholesaling, creative financing, and consulting deals.
Over the years, Ed has occupied every seat at the table, acting as buyer, seller, lender, landlord, and tenant. Ed has found a way to use insights earned in the industry over an extended period with fundamentals he acquired through completing a Masters of Business Administration with Wake Forest University School of Business.
Ed’s no-nonsense approach balances strong returns with empathy for individuals and
families facing challenging situations, enabling him to spot opportunities that others might overlook. In 2019, he teamed up with Michael Fichman to form CLTBuyers, now recognized
as one of the leading investment teams in the Charlotte Metro area.
Widely regarded as a subject matter expert in creative financing techniques—such as lease options, subject-to, and seller financing—Ed has used these strategies to build substantial equity and cash flow. He also applies the same principles to acquire companies, expanding both his cash flow and service offerings. Through CLTBuyers, Ed regularly provides guidance to fellow investors, helping them refine their performance and maximize returns in real estate and beyond
He has been given awards from local REIA’s, Masterminds and other groups for his go-giver attitude and positive contributions to others in his circles of influence. He leads with continues to strive to find ways to lift others.
